A Humble Beginning

The company is incorporated as a Private Limited Company in the year 2008.

With a very humble beginning, the company has now grown into a dynamic group catering to the requirements of the global healthcare industry at an affordable price. Currently, Akesiss Group occupies a prominent position in manufacturing, marketing and export of pharmaceutical formulations.

The Akesiss Group’s fully integrated business model spans across entire product value chain, right from formulation development to manufacturing and marketing. The Group is involved in developing a growing portfolio of best-in-class pharmaceutical formulations in the health care arena.

The Name ``Akesiss``

“AKESIS” is a Greek Deity symbolizing Healing Remedy Powers for good health of the humanity Akesis was the demi-god of convalescence, who “brought to fulfilment” recuperation from illness or injury. He was depicted on ancient coins and reliefs as a boy wearing a wide cloak and low hood or Phrygian cap. Sometimes he held a scroll or tablet in his hands.

Akesis had his own temple, the Telesphorion, in the precinct of Asklepios at Pergamon in Anatolia. He was also recognised as one of the healing gods at the Asklepian sanctuary of Epidauros. His female counterpart was the goddess Akeso. True to the name “AKESISS” stands for high quality medicine for better health care.
