COMPOSITION:
Each effervescent tablet contains:
N-Acetylcysteine ……….600 mg

ACETYLCYSTEINE:
Acetylcysteine is a derivative of the amino acid L-cysteine. It is used for its mucolytic properties to help break down and thin mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to expel. It also serves as an antidote for acetaminophen (paracetamol) overdose by replenishing intracellular levels of the antioxidant glutathione.

Mechanism of Action:

Mucolytic Action: Acetylcysteine breaks down mucus, reducing its viscosity and aiding in its clearance from the respiratory tract.

Antioxidant Properties: It also acts as an antioxidant, helping to reduce oxidative stress in the lungs obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

USES:
Bronchial Asthma: Helps in reducing symptoms and improving breathing.

COPD: Aids in managing symptoms and enhancing quality of life for individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Other Uses:

ADMINISTRATION:
